Mrs. Jac’Quese Smith is a devoted wife of over 14 years (Reverend Milton) and a mother to (Miss Amilyah Smith) who attended St. Barnabas from K5-8th grade. Mrs. Smith has a Masters in Cosmetology from Lawson State Community College (1993). She owned and managed a salon formerly known as Anointed Hands in the eastern area of Birmingham, Alabama. Mrs. Smith also worked as a youth advisor and director for over 25 years at Groveland Baptist church, 45th Street Baptist Church and currently at New Creation Christian Fellowship.
Mrs. Smith is a devoted and active member of New Creation Christian Fellowship where she serves as the Youth Minister, Youth Director, a member of the Praise & Worship Team and is active in community outreach. She developed her gifts of acting and stage performances while writing plays for the youth ministries. After 26 years in the beauty business, Mrs. Smith answered the call of working with children full time. She has received her Associate’s Degree (2014) from Phoenix University in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree with a minor in Business Management.
